As always that thing in my side bar I keep telling myself to one day open up, redditors telling me how much easier it is to remove backrounds and a multitude of other basic functions that can sometimes make you feel like herding cats. Or you revert to the known ways you know could be done in seconds rather than minutes. Years later here we are as I open it up in class for the first time in my life (at least for real). It’s DTC (too often confused with my data class whenever I glance at the abbrevs). Hello photoshop.
It’s a crazy world we live in, and it can be hard navigating through a sea of mostly platinum wrapped hot garbage. Once you find something you like, it can be hard to switch to something that may be more efficient. Rarely do I have the luxury to run around wild in a program whether it be illustrator, logic, or whatever. Usually its make this with this, or add this to this image, or design something that represents this. Which for the non experienced can often lead to many unforeseen reactions in the complex compilations of layers and dynamic effects.
Playing around with the clown(clone) tool gave me some fun images and while not coherent, seemed quite cool and unique and definitely made me want to play more and see what else Photoshop could do. Yet it’s still back to the question that got me in digital design, how do I incorporate the different medias and software to create more developed, consistent, and efficient creations.
